UVICO-2

High Power UV and VIS Light Source

Profile

The UVICO-2 combines high power short wave UV illumination with high precision and stability at low cost. Two kinds of this light source are available emitting UVA, UVB and visible light. By using specific filter setups, you can freely define your required excitation wavelength range. The light output is reliable and continuous at high clock rate allowing a short but intense illumination during your experiments.

Features

Two Types Available

Two types of this bulb-based UV-VIS light source are available, the UVICO-2 (320 nm – 700 nm) and the UVICO-2 DUV (220 nm – 700 nm). In comparison to the UVICO-2, the UVICO-2 DUV emits UVA and UVB as well, but it adds deep UV light. The use of UVC for illumination requires a specific lens setup of beam path for deep UV microscopy. For both light sources the bandwidth can be selected to work and above 400nm, and hence, toggling between UV or visible light range.

Flexibility

Both widefield illumination systems can be connected to almost all models of major research microscope brands via the LGA. It allows to choose the perfect microscope for your applications and individual needs. With the FC-70 series you can improve your microscope setup by adding additional devices like a photomanipulation system.
